A Richard Moody Holiday Party Recap

We hope everyone had a great weekend, getting dolled up or donning an ugly sweater, attending holiday parties! We had a wonderfully packed weekend of holiday events, shopping, tree decorating, and hosting a holiday dinner party.

We hope you have a few more outfits at the ready because there are more events coming up before and after Christmas! We will be posting the local events as well as recapping them and sharing outfit inspirations.

Last night was Richard Moody’s Annual Holiday Party, and if you missed it, you missed an amazing event. Ladies came out in their best furs, and there were countless men in suits. We even spotted a top hat in the room!

It’s always packed for Richard’s events, and this party was no exception! The Urban Eatery was to capacity, while music was provided by DJ Ronny D. The food was great, with selections ranging from beef wellingtons to cheesecake balls– and they never ran out! This year’s charity benefited two Minneapolis based organizations; Domestic Abuse Project and SCC Horizons Youth Program. Each guest was asked to donate an unwrapped toy as admission.

About the charities…..

The Domestic Abuse Project works to stop domestic violence one family at a time. DAP’s partnerships with community leaders like Richard Moody are the thing that can not only help eliminate domestic abuse but also provide gifts to less fortunate children.

SCC Horizons Youth Program provides after-school help to children and youth ages five to thirteen years old. Minneapolis Public Schools identify at-risk kids who need the academic strengthening that Horizons provides. These school aged kids can now have a gift after all their hard work of holistic learning.

We love being able to help out with a charity, after all this is the season of giving! Happy Holidays and have a great week! Photos from the actual event are not up yet but were promised to be posted SOON!
